Neurological Rehabilitation

Neurological therapy, also known as neurorehabilitation, is a specialised form of therapy that focuses on treating individuals with neurological conditions or injuries. This therapy aims to improve or restore the functioning of the nervous system. The goal of neurological therapy is to enhance mobility, coordination, cognition, communication, and overall quality of life for individuals with neurological impairments.

Individuals of all ages who are experiencing a wide range of neurological conditions, injuries, or impairments.

The initial session starts with an assessment to understand your specific needs. From there, we will establish agreed-upon goals and create a personalised treatment plan. The treatment will take place in the comfort of your own home or atvthe clinic. Throughout the treatment process, we will continuously evaluate the results and measure the progress made towards achieving the set objectives in your real-life environment. Finally, we will provide ongoing follow-up to help you maintain your abilities through a tailored regimen of exercises and activities.

The duration of your Neurological Therapy treatment varies for each individual, and there is no set number of required sessions. Following the initial assessment and development of a personalised treatment plan, your therapist will be able to give you an estimate of the expected length of treatment based on your specific needs and goals.

I am fully QUALIFIED through the university of Málaga, Spain. I am also registered with the professional association of occupational therapists in Andalusia (COPTOAND). I undertake numerous hours of continuous professional development each year.
